Wide view of the clubroom. A chibi girl in an oversized mustard-yellow coat stands at the low desk staring at her own empty open hand in horror, while a chibi boy in a mint-green cat-ear hoodie sips a juice box on the cardboard boxes and a small white cat sleeps in an open box on the floor.

Momo's magnifying glass has vanished, which means the Tiny Case Agency's greatest detective must work without her greatest tool — so she investigates the windowsill, a suspicious condensation ring and eventually the room itself through a circle made of her own fist. Ganta tells her exactly where it is on page five. She runs straight past him, dismantles the clubroom, and only finds the truth when a very round white cat shifts in her sleep.

Page 1. A single wide panel. Late afternoon in the Tiny Case Agency clubroom — cardboard boxes, the battered corkboard, the little white mini-fridge, warm light through the square window. Momo stands at the low wooden desk, one tiny hand pulled out of her coat pocket and held open in front of her. It is empty. Her mouth is a small horrified circle. Ganta sits on the stack of boxes with his juice box. Biscuit is curled asleep in her open cardboard box on the floor. MOMO: 'My glass. It's gone.'
