Transcript

Page 3. A single panel, low angle looking up at her for maximum tiny drama. Momo wheels around and flings one arm out toward the square window, her too-big coat flaring behind her like a cape, hem dragging on the floor. Eyebrows down, chin lifted. The theory has arrived fully formed, well ahead of any evidence. MOMO: 'The window. A break-in.'

Image description

Low-angle view of a chibi girl in an oversized mustard-yellow coat and red scarf flinging one arm out to point at the square window, coat flaring behind her, scowling with total conviction.

About this chapter

Momo's magnifying glass has vanished, which means the Tiny Case Agency's greatest detective must work without her greatest tool — so she investigates the windowsill, a suspicious condensation ring and eventually the room itself through a circle made of her own fist. Ganta tells her exactly where it is on page five. She runs straight past him, dismantles the clubroom, and only finds the truth when a very round white cat shifts in her sleep.
