Transcript

Page 4. A single panel, close shot at the square window. Up on tiptoe at the sill, Momo curls one small hand into a hollow circle and presses it to her eye like a lens, squinting through the empty hole of her own fist with enormous professional seriousness. Dust drifts in the warm light on the sill. She has no magnifying glass. She is investigating anyway. MOMO: 'Dust. Disturbed.'

Image description

A chibi girl on tiptoe at a sunlit windowsill holds her own hand curled into a hollow circle up to one eye like a lens, squinting through the empty hole of her fist at the dusty sill.

About this chapter

Momo's magnifying glass has vanished, which means the Tiny Case Agency's greatest detective must work without her greatest tool — so she investigates the windowsill, a suspicious condensation ring and eventually the room itself through a circle made of her own fist. Ganta tells her exactly where it is on page five. She runs straight past him, dismantles the clubroom, and only finds the truth when a very round white cat shifts in her sleep.
