High-angle establishing shot of the Tiny Case Agency clubroom in warm afternoon light. A large golden rectangle of sun lies across the wooden floor. Momo, a tiny chibi detective in an oversized mustard trench coat with a magnifying glass, stands in the light looking down at its edge. Ganta stands by the desk sipping a juice box, and the white cat Biscuit sleeps in an open cardboard box.
Close high-angle view of Momo crouched low over the edge of the shrinking golden sunbeam on the wooden floor, holding her big magnifying glass up to the line where gold meets shadow, eyebrows down, deadly serious. The patch of sunlight is smaller than before.
Momo stands and flings out one arm to point straight at the square window, coat swirling, chin lifted, utterly certain, her magnifying glass raised. A medium golden patch of afternoon sun still lies on the floor behind her.

Late afternoon at the Tiny Case Agency, the warm patch of sunlight on the floor is shrinking — and Momo is certain a light-thief is dragging the daylight out the window inch by inch. She measures the theft, stalks the retreating gold across the room, clears a sleeping Biscuit, and finally corners the last sliver on the windowsill and pounces — just as it winks out at dusk. Ganta tells her on page five that the sun is going down. She hushes him and chases it anyway. Unable to admit the sun simply set, Momo declares the thief escaped with the daylight and vows the agency will recover every drop tomorrow, then falls asleep in the blue dusk. Ganta delivers the verdict once she is out: the sun set — it comes back on its own.

The Tiny Case Agency clubroom, late afternoon. Warm low sunlight pours through the square window and lays a big golden rectangle across the honey-brown floorboards. Momo Hoshiya — a two-heads-tall chibi in a too-big mustard-yellow trench coat and red scarf, clutching her oversized magnifying glass — stands in the middle of the golden patch, staring down at its edge. By the desk, Ganta sips his pale-blue juice box, deadpan. Biscuit the round white cat is asleep in her cardboard box on the floor. MOMO: 'The light... it moved.'

Page 2

Momo crouches low over the floorboards, holding her oversized magnifying glass up to inspect the boundary where the warm gold meets shadow. The golden patch of sunlight is noticeably smaller than a moment ago, its edge visibly pulling back. MOMO: 'Shrinking. Someone is stealing the daylight.'

Page 3

Momo springs up and throws out an arm, pointing dramatically at the window, coat hem swirling, absolutely certain. A medium patch of golden afternoon light still lies on the floor behind her. MOMO: 'A light-thief! Dragging our afternoon out inch by inch!'
