Full-page panel. A high angle looks down the warm Bennet front hall to the closed front door, coats on hooks, a patterned runner on the floorboards, the staircase climbing at the right. Every Bennet is frozen mid-motion, all of them staring at the door: MRS. BENNET half-risen from a hall chair in the foreground, phone in one hand; MARY BENNET in a side doorway with her glasses and the headphones round her neck; LYDIA and KITTY stopped halfway down the stairs, gripping the banister; JANE at the foot of the stairs, gone pale; LIZZIE beside her in her olive jacket. MRS. BENNET: 'Do not open that door yet!'
