The chibi girl in the yellow coat creeps on tiptoe along the wall, holding her magnifying glass up in front of her like a shield, deadly serious, as the big horned shadow looms over her tiny form. The white cat peeks from atop the boxes.

About this chapter

A huge horned shadow looms across the clubroom wall in the low afternoon sun, and Momo is certain a beast has broken into the Tiny Case Agency. She stalks the monster as it grows larger and larger, corners it, and pounces at the wall — only to find it bare. The "intruder" was Biscuit the whole time, sitting up in the sunbeam on the boxes with her ears throwing the horns. Ganta says so on page five. Momo declares she drove the beast off, closes the case, and falls asleep.
