Page 5. Two stacked panels, read top to bottom. Top panel: Ganta sips his pale-blue juice box, glances sideways completely deadpan, and points one stubby hand flatly up toward the top of the cardboard boxes where Biscuit sits in the sunbeam. GANTA: 'It is Biscuit.' Bottom panel: Momo keeps facing the wall and waves her free hand dismissively without even looking at him. MOMO: 'A cat has no horns. Hush.'

About this chapter
A huge horned shadow looms across the clubroom wall in the low afternoon sun, and Momo is certain a beast has broken into the Tiny Case Agency. She stalks the monster as it grows larger and larger, corners it, and pounces at the wall — only to find it bare. The "intruder" was Biscuit the whole time, sitting up in the sunbeam on the boxes with her ears throwing the horns. Ganta says so on page five. Momo declares she drove the beast off, closes the case, and falls asleep.
