Plastic Sea (PT)

No land. No electricity. No memory of the world before. People live on candy-coloured islands of floating trash, fishing under a blazing sun. Roka, a fifteen-year-old thief who refuses to owe anyone, loses his island to a Maw, a monster the size of a town. Pulled from the sea by the Garden Ship, he breaks into a barnacled case dredged from the seabed, and something ancient wakes up in his arm. It is polite. It is curious. It is going to kill every human left. Just not today. Portuguese edition of "Plastic Sea". Translated with AI from "Plastic Sea", chapter 1 (original language: English).
