Dead Hours

An episodic comedy-seinen set on the graveyard shift of a 24-hour convenience store. Kaito Mori, 32, overqualified and quietly unraveling, treats every 3 AM shift like an accidental philosophy seminar. Each chapter is a self-contained story — a new bizarre customer, a new small humiliation of adult life, a new existential crisis over expired onigiri. The recurring cast deepens over time, but the comedy resets every night. Relatable, dry, and warm: the gap between who you thought you'd be by 30 and who you actually are, standing under fluorescent lights at 3 AM.
