Page 10. A single panel. No dialogue — the reveal. Under the desk, caught in the act: Biscuit stands frozen mid-step with a single coloured pencil held crosswise in her mouth, staring straight ahead with big round blank eyes. Her dusty-pink collar and gold bell catch the light. Loose coloured pencils lie scattered across the floorboards around her. She is completely unrepentant.

About this chapter
The pencil mug on the clubroom desk keeps getting lighter. Momo mounts a stakeout, loses a fight with her own eyelids, and wakes just in time to catch the thief mid-crime. This time the prime suspect is actually guilty — and there is a hoard behind the fridge to prove it.
