Inkroost now speaks Korean, Japanese and Chinese
The whole site, the studio, Inky and your emails in 한국어, 日本語, 简体中文 or 繁體中文. Pick a language from the globe in the top bar, or let Inkroost follow your browser.
What shipped. Inkroost is now available in Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese, next to English. Every page you use follows the language you choose: the home page, browsing and reading, the creator studio, your settings, the emails we send you, the changelog and the legal pages. Inky answers in the language you write to him in, whatever language the rest of the page is in.
Why it matters. Creators from Seoul, Tokyo and Taipei were arriving in an English-only studio, and a few even signed up with a name we could not read and got called "user_3". Names in any script now become a proper handle, and the studio greets you by your own name.
How to use it. Tap the globe in the top bar (on a phone it is in the menu and at the bottom of every page) and pick your language. Inkroost remembers the choice on your account, so it follows you to every device. If you never pick one, Inkroost uses the language your browser asks for. English stays the fallback wherever a phrase has no translation yet.
Also. Lettering and captions can now be drawn in Korean, Japanese and Chinese, so a Korean webtoon gets Korean speech bubbles. Anyone searching for a webtoon or manga maker in those languages finds the guide pages in their own language too.
