Animated episodes now play in whole scenes, with sound effects
Inkroost Animate now animates each scene in one go, so characters, light and props stay put, adds sound effects timed to the picture, and scores the episode with one theme.
What changed. Inkroost Animate used to animate an episode a few seconds at a time, one clip for each line. Now it animates each scene in one go: everything that happens in the same place at the same time. Characters keep their poses, the light stays the same, and a door that opens stays open across the cuts inside a scene.
Time passes on screen. When your chapter jumps ahead in time, the episode shows it with a slow fade, and a bigger jump can open on a short shot of the new place in its new light. When someone bursts in on a conversation, the episode cuts straight to them so the moment still lands.
Sound you can hear. Doors, footsteps, a mug set on the table and other sounds of the action are now added and timed to the moment they happen in the picture. Each scene also has its own background sound, such as evening birds or a quiet night. One gentle theme plays under the whole episode, quieter under the voices.
More life between lines. Characters now react between their lines: a glance away, a sip, a hand on a shoulder. Comedy stays quick, and quiet moments are given room to breathe.
Price. The estimate you see before planning now includes the sound effects, so a one-minute episode costs a little more than before. The exact price is still shown before anything is animated, and you approve it first.
