Top Comics shows what people are reading this week, and series pages remember where you were
Top Comics now opens with the series actually being read this week, ranks the rest by how often they have been read, and has a new Most followed sort. A series you have started offers Continue reading instead of sending you back to chapter one.
What changed.
- Trending this week. Top Comics opens with up to five series, numbered, that people actually read in the last seven days. If fewer series were read, you see fewer; a series nobody opened this week never gets the label.
- Most read. Below them, every other series is ranked by how many times its chapters have been opened, all time.
- Most followed. A new option in the sort menu ranks series by how many readers follow them. The menu now reads Trending this week, Most read, Most followed, Newest and Top rated.
- Continue reading. When you are signed in and have already read part of a series, its page shows Continue reading · Chapter N and opens the chapter you were on. If you reached the end of that chapter and a newer one is out, the button offers the next chapter instead.
Why it matters. Top Comics used to fill most of its list with series that simply came first, which said little about what is popular. And coming back to a series you were halfway through should take one tap, not a hunt through the chapter list.
How to use it. Choose Top Comics in the top bar, or pick a sort from the menu on Browse. For Continue reading there is nothing to set up: open any series you have been reading while signed in.
