Dan Mercer makes the best small-batch hot sauce around, but when shoppers ask the AI assistant Lumi for recommendations, his store never comes up and his sales dry up. Then he installs OctoRise, a store-boosting app, and gets Octo, a cheerful orange octopus who teaches him to tune every listing until Lumi can't stop recommending him. Soon the orders are pouring in faster than he can bottle them.
