The young man holds up a lantern as the older man points ahead and the woman looks in the same direction. The young man says, “Hnh?!” The young man asks, “So... how far back does this go?” The woman says, “Uh... I’m fairly sure those weren’t doing that this morning.” The older man says, “I don’t doubt that, Mr. Keane. I would’ve sensed that if they had.” The older man says, “Your Sarcasm is noted, Miss Shaw.” The woman says, “Reassuring. So the necromantic mass grave beneath our kitchen has only just become active.” The woman asks, “What exactly was the water insulating them from, Erasmus?” The older man points toward a glowing grate and says, “From that, Miss Shaw. Countless sacrifices have been conducted upon that altar. Each left a dreg of necromantic power.”
