Page 11. Two stacked panels, read top to bottom. No dialogue. Top panel: Biscuit curled asleep in her open cardboard box, shifting a little in her sleep, the small gold bell on her dusty-pink collar tilting against the cardboard. Bottom panel: an extreme close-up beside her round white flank, where a polished wooden handle and a thin curved sliver of glass rim have been pushed out from underneath her. The missing item has been directly beneath the cat this entire time.
Descripción de la imagen
Two stacked wordless panels: a very round white cat with a grey head patch asleep in an open cardboard box, shifting slightly so her gold bell tilts, and below it a close-up of a wooden handle and a sliver of glass rim poking out from underneath her.
Acerca de este capítulo
Momo's magnifying glass has vanished, which means the Tiny Case Agency's greatest detective must work without her greatest tool — so she investigates the windowsill, a suspicious condensation ring and eventually the room itself through a circle made of her own fist. Ganta tells her exactly where it is on page five. She runs straight past him, dismantles the clubroom, and only finds the truth when a very round white cat shifts in her sleep.
