Check the actual pages and carry the story forward
Inky can inspect existing page images, including approved chapters, and consult earlier endings and saved plan dialogue before continuing your story.
What shipped. Inky now receives the ending text of existing chapters, the final scenes of recent drawing plans, and your recent story corrections when preparing a reply. It can read the exact scenes and dialogue from older saved plans, including plans that have fallen outside the recent chat window.
Why it matters. A chapter summary can describe how an arc starts without saying how it ends. Inky is now instructed to continue from what has happened, distinguish a proposed scene from an existing page, and preserve the meaning of your correction. Missing page text is treated as a reason to inspect the drawings, rather than invent an ending.
Checking continuity. A question such as “but that already happened?” does not authorize edits or taking a chapter offline. Inky can read and inspect the story while answering; changing existing pages still needs your request. Replies that jump to an unsolicited offline change or regeneration receive a correction attempt before they are shown.
Look at any existing page. “Review pages 8 and 9” now has a read-only image inspection path. It opens those exact page images, including uploaded pages and pages in approved chapters, without taking the chapter offline. Inky receives visible observations and readable dialogue; missing or unreadable images are reported instead of being treated as reviewed.
One card for a requested long chapter. When you request a concrete length such as 60 or 100 pages, Inky preserves that count while preparing the story. A partial arc cannot replace the full plan: all requested pages must be saved before the single card is offered. Preparing the plan is free; pressing Run queues its pages at the displayed price.
