What shipped. Series and reader pages now reserve the exact space every image will occupy before it loads, and the cover you are about to look at is fetched at high priority.
Why it matters. Layout shift is the tax you pay on every chapter: the page jumps just as you reach for a panel. Reserving dimensions removes the jump; prioritising the cover makes the page feel ready sooner.
How to use it. Nothing to configure — just read. If you publish on Inkroost, your pages get the same treatment automatically.
