Panel 1: In the warm, floral-patterned Bennet living room, JANE BENNET and CHARLES BINGLEY sit in facing chairs a little too far apart, both quietly glowing and painfully awkward, hands resting on their own knees. Mugs and a stack of books on the low table between them. BINGLEY: 'You look well.' JANE: 'So do you.' Panel 2: The same room from the opposite side. FITZWILLIAM DARCY stands apart at the tall window in his charcoal overcoat, hands in his pockets, looking out at the garden, perfectly still. Across the room LIZZIE BENNET sits on the sofa with a mug in both hands, watching him. Warm lamplight inside, cool daylight on Darcy.
