Transcript

Maya stands on the dais holding a notebook as Headmistress Oriel faces her in a blue robe with star details and hanging charms. Above them, a cluster of glowing lights surrounds a dark cracked one. Maya: “Footsteps.” Headmistress Oriel: “The Great Hall is closed after dark, Miss Maya.” Headmistress Oriel: “Counting stars?” Maya: “Counting Dreamlights, Headmistress. There should be seven lit.” Headmistress Oriel: “Then you remember more than most. Be careful with that.”
