Panel 1: An overhead angle looks down into the full basket: blank-wrapped snacks and a blank tub already beaded with condensation. Kaito's hands grip the counter on either side. Kaito: "Cold stuff. It's already sweating." Panel 2: Kaito glances at the clear umbrella hooked on the counter edge, one eyebrow raised, while Rin films. Kaito: "He left his umbrella too. In the rain." Kaito: "He's coming back. He has to."

이 챕터에 대해
3 A.M., rain on the dead-hours store. A harried customer fills a hand-basket and, just as they reach the counter, a phone call sends them bolting into the rain — leaving a full basket of gathered goods behind, unpaid and unclaimed, along with a clear umbrella by the door. Kaito is caught in a bind only he could suffer: the goods are off the shelf but not sold — a purchase frozen between the shelf and the sale, belonging nowhere. He can't reshelve them (the owner might return), can't ring them up (there's no one to pay), and can't leave a transaction festering on his counter, so he declares quiet war on the basket and resolves to resolve it before dawn, spiraling all night over when a thing stops being merchandise and becomes someone's. All night the sliding doors ding and Kaito lifts the basket, half-hoping — only to freeze, unable to commit, and set it back down on the identical dead-eyed beat as he mutters '...not yet.' A ladder of night-shift regulars each deliver a verdict nobody can verify: the tracksuit regular says just put it back, a drunk salaryman calls finders-keepers and tries to take it, a cheerful jogger insists he should just buy it himself. Kaito escalates — bagging it, trying to log it, waiting out head office's hold line — while Rin quietly livestreams the whole vigil as 'Man Guards a Basket,' with one flicker of near-sincerity that he's the only person alive who'd guard a stranger's half-shopping like it matters, before raising her phone again. Near dawn, hollow and unable to bear the limbo, Kaito finally commits and buys the entire basket himself out of his own wallet to close the transaction — the running beat inverting into a serene, triumphant '...done.' The instant he pays, the doors ding and the real owner rushes back — drawn not by Kaito's six-hour vigil but by Rin's viral post — grabs the umbrella they actually came back for, waves off the basket entirely ('oh, keep it, I don't need all that'), thanks Rin, and buys a single coffee before leaving. Kaito is left having bought a stranger's random shopping he never wanted; Rin plucks the one good item from the bag and takes it. 'Man Guards a Basket — six hours' hits four hundred thousand viewers; Kaito gets nothing. Dawn light fills the spotless store exactly as the night began — and on the freshly bare counter a new abandoned basket already sits, Rin's phone already raised, already live.
