Page 10. A silent still-life panel at its biggest. The single horned cat-shaped shadow now sprawls enormous across the entire wall and ceiling in a strong warm sunbeam full of dust motes. The tiny cat that casts it still sits calmly on the boxes below. No dialogue.
Descripción de la imagen
A silent wide view of the clubroom wall and ceiling, where an enormous horned cat-shaped shadow now sprawls across almost the whole surface in a strong warm sunbeam. The small white cat sits on the boxes; a magnifying glass rests on the low table. No text.
Acerca de este capítulo
A huge horned shadow looms across the clubroom wall in the low afternoon sun, and Momo is certain a beast has broken into the Tiny Case Agency. She stalks the monster as it grows larger and larger, corners it, and pounces at the wall — only to find it bare. The "intruder" was Biscuit the whole time, sitting up in the sunbeam on the boxes with her ears throwing the horns. Ganta says so on page five. Momo declares she drove the beast off, closes the case, and falls asleep.
