Panel 1: Mrs. Bennet sweeps around the room planning aloud, three steps into an imaginary wedding already. Mrs. Bennet: "We'll have him to dinner. And new dresses—" Panel 2: Lydia, thrilled, bounces on the sofa, pointing at herself. Lydia: "I call first dance!" Panel 3: Kitty, medium-brown hair, immediately protests at Lydia, leaning in. Kitty: "You can't just call it!" Panel 4: The two younger sisters bicker while Mrs. Bennet ignores them entirely, still planning. Panel 5: Jane, honey-blonde hair and soft-pink cardigan, calm and quiet amid the noise — with a small genuine smile she is not hiding well. Panel 6: Lizzie leans in close to Jane, warm and teasing, just between the two of them. Lizzie: "You're allowed to be excited, you know."

關於本章
Mr. Bennet has secretly already gone and met Bingley — but he says nothing, letting the whole family stew in their frustration that he refuses to make the introduction. He drops sly hints nobody catches, the household's exasperation climbs, and then he springs the reveal: he went that morning, and they are already acquainted. The room detonates from fury into joy. Mrs. Bennet whiplashes from outrage to delight, the younger girls erupt, Mary tries to say something profound and is ignored, and beneath the chaos Lizzie and Jane share the quiet bond that anchors the family.
