Ace, Max, Vex, and armored troops are in a ruined city beneath hovering aircraft. Max stands at a glowing console. Ace: Nah. You don't get to say some cryptic shit like that and just walk away. Ace: What do you know about me? Vex: Less than you think. Vex: More than you do. Ace: Then start talking. Ace: You still believe we came here only for the Token. Vex: Didn't you? Ace: We did. Vex: Until it answered you. Console: LION TOKEN STABILIZED Console: ACE RESONANCE REMAINS Max: Uh... Ace? Max: Yeah... actually now. Ace: What's it showing? Max: The Token's stabilized... but your resonance is still active. Armored soldier: Your Majesty... do we secure the Token? Vex: No. Armored soldier: And the lion? Vex: Neither. Ace: Hold up—you wreck our city, find what you came for, and now you're leaving? Vex: All Dark Lion units—withdraw from Mane City. Vex: I found more than I came for. Vex: We'll meet again, Ace.
