In the aftermath of the Dark Lions’ attack, Ace refuses to let Vex’s cryptic warning go unanswered. With Max at his side, their search leads beneath Mane City to a forgotten archive connected to the mysterious Lion Token—and to Ace himself. There, they discover that the strange energy surrounding Ace is actually a dormant Power Level tied to an ancient role known as a Bearer. As Max begins helping Ace understand and control his growing abilities, the two return to help the people rebuild their damaged home. But far beyond Mane City, Ace’s awakening has triggered something ancient. The battle may be over, but something much bigger has just begun.
