A large reaction panel. Pale grey-blue dawn light fills the front windows. The morning delivery driver — stocky, buzz-cut, cap, short-sleeved uniform — bursts in through the sliding doors carrying a stacked plastic crate and shouts a cheerful greeting. Behind the counter Kaito jolts violently, eyes huge and round, his whole body flinching in shock. DELIVERY DRIVER: MORNING!
