Page 12. A medium reveal panel. Momo has turned around from the now-bare wall to find only Biscuit — the small round white cat sitting up serenely on the cardboard boxes in the fading sunbeam, ears pricked, blinking, utterly unbothered — clearly the harmless source of the whole 'monster'. Caught between deflation and stubborn dignity, Momo lifts her chin and hugs her magnifying glass to her chest. MOMO: 'I have driven it off. Case closed.'

The chibi girl in the yellow coat has turned from the now-bare wall to find only the small round white cat sitting serenely on the boxes in the fading sunbeam. She lifts her chin stubbornly and hugs her magnifying glass to her chest.
About this chapter
A huge horned shadow looms across the clubroom wall in the low afternoon sun, and Momo is certain a beast has broken into the Tiny Case Agency. She stalks the monster as it grows larger and larger, corners it, and pounces at the wall — only to find it bare. The "intruder" was Biscuit the whole time, sitting up in the sunbeam on the boxes with her ears throwing the horns. Ganta says so on page five. Momo declares she drove the beast off, closes the case, and falls asleep.
