The clubroom is quiet again — same desk, boxes, corkboard, mini-fridge, folding chair and window, with the leafy twig still faintly tapping the glass from outside. Momo lies flat out asleep on the floorboards, coat pooled around her, eyes closed in happy curves, hugging her magnifying glass. Biscuit dozes in her open box, and Ganta sits on the boxes with his juice box, looking down at the sleeping detective and delivering the true verdict now that nobody is awake to argue. GANTA: 'It was a tree.'
