Page 5. Two stacked panels, read top to bottom. No dialogue — a silent beat. Top panel: an extreme close-up through the round magnifying glass. A line of tiny pale crumbs on the floorboards, magnified and slightly warped at the edge of the lens, the wooden handle at the corner of the frame. Bottom panel: floor level. The crumb trail runs across the boards and stops dead at a pair of small white sneakers, navy shorts above them.

Two stacked wordless panels: a line of tiny crumbs on wooden floorboards seen magnified through a round glass lens, and below it the same crumb trail running across the floor and stopping at a pair of small white sneakers.
Acerca de este capítulo
The Tiny Case Agency's first official case: one pudding cup, purchased and refrigerated by Momo herself, is gone. She has a crumb trail, a prime suspect in a cat-ear hoodie, a paw print, and absolute certainty. Ganta has a juice box and one very short answer. The trail leads somewhere Momo really does not want it to lead.
