Every look now draws its own kind of page
The look you pick decides how the page is laid out, not only how it is drawn. Storybook pages come out as soft, borderless picture-book scenes, ligne claire keeps its neat album grid, webtoons stack wide panels with room to breathe.
What shipped. Each look in the style picker now comes with its own way of laying out a page, taken from the sample you see when you choose it. Until now every look was drawn with the same busy comic layout of slanted panels and white gutters, so a storybook series came out looking like an action comic.
- Storybook draws one large painted scene with no border, fading into the paper, with small round vignettes for the other moments.
- Ligne claire keeps a tidy album grid of straight, even panels.
- Webtoon stacks a few wide panels with space between them.
- Superhero, shōnen and kirbyism keep their slanted cuts and figures bursting out of the frame.
The other looks follow their own samples the same way. The look leads, and each page still gets the layout that suits what happens on it, so a chapter never repeats one arrangement.
How to use it. Nothing to change. Series that already use a look pick up its layout on the next page you draw. If you describe a layout yourself in a page's script, your description still wins.
