How to make money with your comics
A plain guide to earning from your comics, webtoons and manga: grow readers on Inkroost, open new chapters to your Patreon supporters, and sell the finished book on Amazon KDP, Draft2Digital or Comics Authority.
What shipped. A new page, Make money with your comics, answers the question creators ask us most: how does a comic earn anything? It walks through the four steps that work, in the order they work: grow readers here first, open new chapters to your supporters on Patreon, sell the finished book where books are sold, and say clearly when your art is AI-made.
Why it matters. Most comic income starts with readers, not with a store. Publishing on Inkroost is free, readers can start without an account, and the people who follow your series are the ones who later support it or buy the book. The page is honest about that order, and about what each outside store asks of you.
How to use it.
- Supporters on Patreon. Connect your Patreon under Settings, then set a chapter's Who can read it to Supporters only (Patreon). Readers unlock it by checking their own pledge; the money goes straight from them to you through Patreon.
- Sell the book. Open Export in the studio and download a chapter or series as an ebook (EPUB), a PDF, a comic archive (CBZ), page images or a webtoon strip. Every plan includes copies without the small Inkroost mark. The guide links each store's own rules for Amazon KDP, Draft2Digital and Comics Authority.
- Find it again. The guide is linked from the home page, from Export, and next to Who can read it in every chapter.
