Page 8. The same eye-level framing down toward the floorboards as the earlier pounce. Momo lunges and slaps both hands down again, magnifying glass tumbling from one hand, while right beside her Biscuit pounces at the same instant with both front paws out. The single small round spot of golden light has slipped away between them, escaping both hunters. MOMO: 'A partner? Or a rival?'
