Momo refuses to admit she was wrong: she lowers her oversized magnifying glass, hugs it to her chest and lifts her chin with dignified, half-lidded eyes, pretending this was the plan all along. The afternoon light has dipped and softened, so the wall behind her is now bare pastel cream with no glowing spot anywhere. MOMO: 'The sprite is banished. Case closed.'
