Transcript
Akane and Rina sit across from each other at the small square table under the glowing rattan lamp, a plate of lace-crusted gyoza between them. Caption: "Usually, dinner for one." Akane bites into a gyoza, eyes closed with pleasure. Caption: "Crisp underneath, soft on top, juicy inside." Rina's chopsticks reach for one of the neat gyoza, but Akane's hand has already set the fat, lumpy one on Rina's plate. Caption: "Tonight, the second chair is taken." Rina pouts at her plate with her chin in her hand; Akane smiles across the table. Rina: "...Fine. It has character."

About this chapter
Akane makes pan-fried gyoza with a crispy lace wing from scratch, but this time she is not alone: her rascal younger sister Rina drops in, steals tastes, folds a lumpy "gyoza with character" and lifts the lid at the worst moment. Captions walk the reader through every amount, fold and heat setting, ending with both sisters at the little table, the second chair finally taken.
